Lingang built the largest stone market in North China

Abstract The first phase of the Binhai International Stone Port in the Lingang Economic Zone has been successfully completed, marking a significant milestone in the region's development. In the near future, dozens of renowned stone enterprises from both within and outside China will establish their presence at the port. It is anticipated that the project will officially open early next year, becoming the largest and most comprehensive stone market in North China. This development is expected to boost the local economy and position the area as a key player in the national and international stone trade.

The Binhai International Stone Port Project is divided into two phases. The first phase covers an area of 148,000 square meters, including 13,000 square meters of processing workshops and three large factories covering 60,000 square meters. The second phase spans 150,000 square meters and is currently in the final stage of construction, with completion expected by the first half of next year.

As a comprehensive stone market, the port integrates trading, processing, design, construction, warehousing, logistics, and supporting services. It features multiple specialized areas, such as a large board and decorative stone display trading zone, a cultural stone and special-shaped materials section, as well as an area dedicated to stone crafts. Additionally, there are designated zones for marble and granite storage and processing, block material yards, a central processing hub, and a display and trading area for stone machinery and maintenance products. This fully integrated platform aims to provide one-stop solutions for all stone-related industries, making it a vital hub for both domestic and global trade.
