Luo Kewei Group, the global leader in fire protection and insulation materials, has announced a major investment of 1 billion RMB in Tianjin to establish what will be the world's largest rock wool production base. This strategic move marks a significant step forward in the company’s global expansion and underscores its commitment to meeting the growing demand for high-quality insulation solutions.
As China's closest municipality to Beijing, Tianjin offers not only well-developed international ports but also a dynamic and rapidly growing economy. These factors made it an ideal location for Luo Kewei to set up its new facility. The plant will span 400,000 square meters and is expected to produce 120,000 tons of rock wool annually upon completion in 2014. When operational, it will become the largest single-line production site for premium rock wool in the world.
To ensure sustainability and minimize environmental impact, the new plant will utilize cutting-edge technologies such as advanced separation systems and energy-efficient manufacturing processes. This aligns with the company’s broader goals of promoting green building practices and reducing carbon footprints.
