The acceptance, issuance, and ongoing management of the LA Safety Mark are handled by the Special Labor Protection Article Safety Mark Management Center, which operates under the China Academy of Production Safety. This center ensures that all products bearing the LA mark meet strict national and industry standards.

The LA Safety Mark plays a crucial role in regulating special labor protection articles in China. It helps ensure the safety and health of workers by confirming that the products meet required performance standards. All manufacturers, distributors, and sellers of such equipment must obtain this certification before they can legally produce or sell their products.

The LA Safety Mark consists of two main components: the "Special Labor Protection Article Safety Mark Certification" and the "Special Labor Protection Article Safety Mark Identification." Together, these elements serve as proof that the product has passed rigorous testing and meets the necessary safety requirements.

According to the "Specifications for the Implementation of Safety Signs for Special Labor Protection Products," the LA Safety Mark is a formal certificate that confirms the safety performance of labor protection articles complies with national and industry standards. To apply for the LA Safety Mark, the applicant must first conduct an internal review to ensure their product meets the necessary criteria. If the product qualifies, they should complete the "Application Form for Safety Signs of Special Labor Protection Articles" and submit it along with the required documentation to the Special Labor Protection Product Safety Mark Management Center.

The management center will review the application within five working days from the date of receipt. If the application is accepted, the applicant will receive a notice of acceptance. If not, they will be informed of any missing or incomplete information and asked to resubmit or provide additional details. The applicant is also responsible for covering the costs associated with the evaluation and certification process.
