Base Inspection
After the base layer has been plastered for approximately 15 days, a thorough inspection of the surface is conducted to ensure it is level and ready for further work. The verticality and flatness should not exceed 2mm. Any cracks, voids, or holes left from scaffolding or construction must be filled with early-strength cement mortar to ensure a solid foundation. During the plastering process, the wall should be evenly coated and smoothed out, while the moisture content should remain below 8% and the pH value should be under 10 to avoid future issues.
Surface Preparation
1) Begin by cleaning the wall surface using a trowel to remove loose dust, debris, and oil stains. Apply an epoxy primer to the plastic areas of the wall, then fill any sunken spots with polymer anti-cracking mortar. Use special putty to fill in the depressions and smooth out any raised sections, ensuring the flatness remains under 1.5mm.
High-End Finish Treatment
2) Apply fiberglass mesh for enhanced crack resistance. Spread a crack-resistant polymer mortar over the mesh, ensuring that the width extends at least 2cm beyond the edges of the mesh for better adhesion and durability.
Putty Application
1) Start with the first layer of flat putty, applying it with a special scraper in a top-to-bottom and left-to-right motion. Maintain steady pressure during application to avoid leaving visible marks. This step ensures the wall is even and smooth.
2) Sand the surface using 150#–220# sandpaper after the first layer has dried for 4 hours. Remove any uneven areas to prepare for the next coat.
3) Apply the second layer of flat putty using a trowel, ensuring full coverage without any gaps or joints. The surface must be perfectly smooth.
4) After drying, repeat the sanding process with 200#–300# sandpaper. Pay close attention to the areas around any holes or irregularities before proceeding. Ensure a minimum 4-hour gap between layers and maintain proper moisture levels during this time.
Primer Application
A high-performance primer is used to strengthen the bond between the plaster and the putty, improve waterproofing, neutralize the base, and prevent efflorescence. Apply the primer using a short-nap roller, ensuring even coverage without drips or missed spots.
Joint Setting
The placement, width, and alignment of the joints are determined based on the engineering design. Once positioned, lines are drawn to maintain uniformity and consistency in the joint width. Apply an epoxy primer to the joint area, followed by a black, high-gloss fluorocarbon paint to complete the finish.
Elastic Coating Application
Use high-performance elastic paint in the same color to create a three-dimensional effect, effectively preventing wall cracking. This paint can also be combined with fluorocarbon metal paint for superior adhesion. Apply the coating using a fine nap roller, ensuring consistent patterns and smooth coverage.
Elastic Fluorocarbon Midcoat Application
This midcoat provides excellent adhesion, integrates well with the base layer, covers small pinholes, and enhances waterproof performance. It also works in conjunction with the topcoat to enhance the building's overall appearance. Mix the midcoat base, curing agent, and thinner in the correct ratio, then apply using a short-nap roller, avoiding sagging or missed areas.
Elastic Fluorocarbon Metal Paint Application
This topcoat offers full protection, strong weather resistance, and a metallic sheen. Mix the base, curing agent, and thinner as instructed, let it rest for 30 minutes, then spray the surface in a left-to-right and top-to-bottom motion. Ensure even coverage to avoid inconsistencies like blooming or sagging.
Lacquer Application
The final lacquer layer provides comprehensive protection, excellent water resistance, and self-cleaning properties. Apply the mixture following the same procedure as above, ensuring even spraying and avoiding defects such as mottling or dripping.
Additional Notes
1) Construction should only occur when humidity is below 85% and temperatures range between 5°C and 40°C. Avoid working in rain, snow, fog, frost, or high winds.
2) After sanding, rinse the surface with clean water and allow it to dry completely before painting.
3) Allow the paint film to fully cure for about 7 days before use. Do not use it prematurely.
4) Stir the components thoroughly and use them within 30 minutes after mixing.
5) All mixed materials must be used within the specified time frame. If they exceed the recommended duration, discard them.
6) Only use the designated accessories provided with the product. Never substitute with other commercial products.
