This was a recent case in a large supermarket in the north of Nanjing. In the case, these criminals covered each other between food and cosmetic shelves and stolen high-end canned milk powder, cosmetics, women's vitamins, etc. The total price was about 2,800 yuan.

The police reminded that large and medium-sized supermarkets should add video surveillance equipment and update in time. If any suspected person is found, the police shall be reported to the police in a timely manner and handled by the police in accordance with the law.

Theft of computer accessories in hotel rooms. On the evening of March 27, a man stayed at a hotel on Ruijin Road and requested to open the in-room computer Internet service. On the morning of the 28th, the man left without checking out. The hotel staff found out that the motherboard, CPU, memory stick, and hard drive of the computer host in the room were stolen.

The police reminded: Hotels and restaurants that are equipped with computers in guest rooms and provide Internet services to guests are easily targeted by criminals. The store can put the computer in a fully enclosed frame or computer desk, leaving only the start button and some interfaces, without exposing the host.

Buy "gold and silver jewelry" to cover the theft. A man claimed to buy a necklace at a jewellery counter in a large shopping mall in Xinjiekou. He asked the salesperson to open the counter and divert his attention at the requested price. He took the opportunity to steal a 24K gold necklace weighing 99.2 grams inside the counter.

The police reminded: Gold, silver, jewelry and other commodities are small in size and high in value. On the basis of setting up security locks and safety locks, the store also needs to set up special monitoring probes covering the entire counter without leaving a dead end. Attention should be paid to suspicious persons who deliberately pull things up or down while shopping, or attempt to distract the staff for various reasons.
