4.3 Research on supporting application-oriented CAD technology methods For enterprises that are transforming into a market economy system, they should fully understand the first principle of competition emphasized by the market economy, which determines the technology frontier, especially product design technology. Innovative needs, and the deepening of CAD technology will help achieve this goal. At present, it is unrealistic to study CAD systems from the bottom of two-dimensional drawings. The author believes that the application of the CAD technology direction should be carried out on one or several popular and open architecture software platforms for the specific requirements of manufacturing enterprises. The research focus on supporting CAD basic application technology should be placed in the following aspects:
(1) Two-dimensional and three-dimensional database construction work for basic parts and standard general-purpose parts by industry. At present, the work of two-dimensional database construction is relatively mature, and the three-dimensional solid design is the development direction. The combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional should be a model for domestic enterprises to apply CAD. At present, it is advisable to develop the development of 3D database software as soon as possible.
(2) Research on CAD/CAM/CAE integration technology based on unified product model. Generally speaking, after the goal of “甩图†is reached, it should move to the information integration stage of the design process. Although many CAD/CAM software systems claim to be integrated, there are still many problems in actual use. Different companies, different product objects, the same products, but different manufacturing resources may have different manufacturing processes. . Therefore, the development of CAPP tools for the requirements of a certain type of manufacturing enterprise is expected to be successful.
(4) Research on product data management (PDM) and parallel design methods, especially in the network environment, product information resource management mode, distributed remote cooperation design mode, etc. are necessary for basic theoretical research, and have broad application prospects. Foreign research in this area is also a frontier of technology, such as CSCW (computer-supported collaborative work), Web-based design, etc. are still in the exploration and research stage. As a technical preparation, it is also meaningful to support research in this area.
