2007 National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee Annual Meeting and Standards Review Meeting Held in Kunming

From November 26th to 30th, the National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee held the 2007 National Abrasives Standardization Technical Committee Annual Meeting and Standards Review Meeting in Kunming, Yunnan Province. A total of 99 members and invited representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Mingyao, chairman of the standardization committee and deputy director of the Zhengzhou Abrasives Grinding Research Institute. Most of the directors and deputy directors of the clubs attended the meeting. The meeting was organized by Zhang Changwu, deputy director and secretary general of the Standardization Committee, and the secretariat was responsible for the work of the meeting.   On the 28th, Chairman Liu Mingyao presided over the meeting of all delegates. On behalf of the Secretariat, Secretary-General Zhang Changwu reported to the General Assembly on the work of the Standards Committee and the Secretariat over the past year, introduced the contents and schedule of the meeting, and informed the change of the Standards Committee to be held next year. Preparation for work.
In his subsequent speech, Chairman Liu Mingyao made a brief summary of the work of the Standards Committee. I thank the members for their support of the work of the Standards Committee and hope that they will continue to support the work of the Standards Committee in the future.
  After the conference, each sub-technical committee convened a meeting to review the standard revision and revision plan items that should be completed this year. The Technical Committee for General Abrasives and Silicon Carbide Special Products continued the review meeting of the previous day. The standard review meeting will be chaired by the chairmen or vice-chairmen of each sub-technical committee.
The meeting reviewed and approved 25 national and industrial standards for abrasives, including 5 ordinary abrasives (5 national standards); 11 ordinary abrasives (11 national standards); 4 special silicon carbide products (country). 2 standards, 2 industry standards); 3 superhard abrasives and products (2 national standards, 1 industry standard), 2 coated abrasives (2 national standards).
The meeting completed the scheduled tasks and achieved a complete success with the active work and joint efforts of the delegates.
