Bauxite mine exploration and research project in western Guangxi seized 515 million tons of bauxite

Recently, the results of the “Beixi Bauxite Exploration and Research” project passed the results appraisal organized by the Guangxi Science and Technology Department. The project team consisting of the Guangxi Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Guangxi Fourth Geological Team, the Guangxi 274 Geological Team, and the China University of Geosciences (Beijing), after more than 10 years of exploration and research, has innovated the bauxite ore-forming theory and exploration technology methods. Guangxi has detected 151 million tons of bauxite reserves.

It is reported that the investigation results report of this project has been applied to the feasibility study and mine design of the project of the aluminum industrial base in western Guangxi, and the submitted bauxite resource reserves have been developed and utilized by it, and the total annual sales revenue can reach 10.8 billion yuan. The deposit of bauxite resources submitted by the project has greatly increased the reserves of bauxite reserves in China. It is of great significance to improve the ratio of storage and production of bauxite resources in China and improve the domestic bauxite resource support capacity.
