The è¾— expansion process is used in the casting production of SKF bearing rings; it is widely used; it is combined with the forming process of hammer, flat forging machine and press; it forms a production line; it has great skill and economic effects.
1. Improve the precision and scale accuracy of the forgings; eliminate the wall thickness difference; and make the forging section initially close to the maximum ferrule shape; therefore, it can reduce the amount of forgings and public service; improve data utilization; reduce machining work the amount.
2. Improve the internal quality of the forgings. The fineness of the ferrules is fine; the flow direction of the fibers is outstanding; then the fatigue life of the SKF bearings is improved. The test proves that the internal quality of the ferrules is better than other casting methods. The ferrule for direct turning of steel pipes has made great progress.
3. Improve the cutting function. The grains of the è¾— expansion ring are distributed in the circumferential direction; and the grain is refined; in addition, the precision is high; the surface is smooth; therefore, the machining performance is good; the cutting tool wear is small.
