The main introduction of single crystal copper

Single crystal copper (OCC) is a kind of high-purity oxygen-free copper. The whole copper rod consists of only one crystal grain. There is no “grain boundary” between the crystal grains (the “grain boundary” will pass the signal. It produces reflections and refractions that cause signal distortion and attenuation, and thus has extremely high signal transmission performance. In contrast, oxygen-free copper (referred to as OFC), which is widely used in the production of acoustic wires, has a large number of internal crystal grains, and the "grain boundary" causes signal distortion and attenuation, so that the signal transmission performance is inferior to that of single crystal copper.

Single crystal copper has excellent comprehensive properties due to the elimination of grain boundaries as a source of resistance generation and a source of signal attenuation: excellent electrical and signal transmission properties, good plastic processing properties; excellent corrosion resistance; significant fatigue resistance; It reduces casting defects such as segregation, porosity, shrinkage, and pressurization; the surface quality is bright; therefore, it is mainly used in defense high technology, civil electronics, communication, and network.
