There is no negative impact on the high temperature wear resistance. Silver Tiger with Leap technology also has another important advantage: it is ideal for wet processing, both wet and dry, and the toughness of the material also gives the insert excellent thermal shock resistance.
Tiger . tec Silver will be gradually introduced to the market. In the short to medium term, existing CVD coated inserts will be completely replaced by new Silver Tiger blades, including turning, milling and drilling inserts. The general material WKP35S (S stands for Silver Tiger) will be introduced for the milling of cast iron and steel materials (ISO-K, ISO-P). The existing Tiger.tec material WKP35 has occupied the peak of the industry for many years, but field tests have proved that the WKP35S as the successor completely surpassed the predecessors. Processing 42CrMo4 heat treatment material, tool life increased by 70%. Compared to other products on the market, the difference is very obvious - performance is increased by 100% or even more.
