Previously, researchers have proposed a variety of schemes to collect the haze particles floating in the filter room, such as physical methods such as electrostatic adsorption, polymer fiber adsorption, and metal-organic framework complex adsorption. However, the prepared smart window is expensive, difficult to expand production and can be recycled repeatedly. Therefore, how to prepare an ultra-large area reusable flexible transparent smart window is still a challenge.

According to reports, researchers can prepare about 7.5 square meters of silver nanowire-nylon smart window in 20 minutes, which costs about 100 yuan. This flexible transparent smart window can not only combine with thermochromic dye to change the indoor light intensity It can also be used as an efficient haze collector to purify indoor air quality. Among them, the air purification efficiency can be up to 99.65%, and can reduce the concentration of PM2.5 in the air from the degree of serious pollution (248μg · m-3) to the excellent state of air (32.9μg · m-3) within 50 seconds . At the same time, after the collected silver nanowire-nylon smart window is collected in the smog, it only needs to be soaked in ethanol for 20 minutes, it can be cleaned and reused, even after hundreds of repeatable cycles, its purification efficiency It can still be stable.
