Cross-linked polyethylene special materials for mass production

After five years of development and research, the pilot, pilot and industrial experiments were completed. Mass production of the new cross-linked polyethylene resin J0253P, a new product of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) independently developed by Liaoyang Petrochemical Company, began. As of December 3, the product has produced a total of 2,282 tons.

The successful mass production of the product broke the monopoly of foreign company technology and products, filled the domestic gap, promoted the industrialization process of China Petroleum Polyethylene's new products, and became a new benefit growth point for the company.

It is understood that the cross-linked polyethylene special material development project is one of China Petroleum's key new product development projects undertaken by Liaoyang Petrochemical. It was established in September 2007. This product is one of the main raw materials for floor heating plastic pipe production, with the characteristics of uniform particle size, suitable size, and relatively narrow molecular mass distribution. Its internal and external surfaces are smooth, have low flow resistance, are not easy to mold, and are not easy to breed bacteria. At the same time, they have strong anti-solvent, chemical corrosion resistance and impact resistance, and have strong abrasion resistance and aging resistance. With a water temperature of 70°C and a fluid pressure of 1 MPa, the service life can reach 50 years.
