Fire equipment selection

6. For Class D fires, that is, metal-burning fires, as far as China's current situation is concerned, there are no fixed fire extinguisher products. At present, foreign fire extinguishers for Class D are mainly powdered graphite fire extinguishers and special dry powder fire extinguishers for metal-extinguishing fires. In the case of domestic production of fire extinguishers and fire extinguishing agent beads, dry sand or cast iron foam can be used for fire extinguishing.
7. Fighting Class F fires, that is, cooking (animal and vegetable oils) in cooking appliances. Avoid water, foam and water-containing substances during fire fighting. Use oxygen to extinguish the fire by means of suffocation.
