Discussion on the article "Simplifying the Two Little Experiences of Numerical Control Programming"

I saw the article "Simplified two-point experience of numerical control programming" published by your magazine in October 2004. I would like to talk about my opinion and see if the program is more concise. As shown in Figure 1, the original author is positioned in the main program, each time the Z direction feed 0.2mm, which requires multiple positioning, so that the program grows, causing trouble for writing and input. Whether we can use the incremental value to write Z in the subroutine to enter 0.2mm each time, thus eliminating the need for multiple positioning in the main program, greatly reducing the amount of program input. The general idea is to calculate the thread depth in advance, the thread depth of the thread with a pitch of 4mm is about 2.17mm, the origin of the workpiece is still selected at the center of the right end face, and the starting point of the machining is set at (90, 10.03), so that the first knife enters 0.17.
