I. The problem is raised. The top column of the 2105 diesel engine oil pump (Fig. 1) is a quenched and tempered steel piece with partial quenching. The workpiece φ10_0~(+0.022)mm transverse hole is machined to φ94_0~(+0.10)mm before heat treatment, and is subjected to floating reaming after heat treatment. Due to the hard material, small aperture and high precision requirements, the quality is often unstable, the scrap rate is high, and the reamer is prone to chipping damage. To this end, the floating reaming process has been improved and good results have been achieved.
