1. The attendance machine can not communicate with the computer First check the COM port and network port is connected, and then view the attendance settings: Press "MENU" in the "Settings" → "System Settings" to view the attendance machine number (default is 1) , baud rate (default 38400). Check the computer and software settings: the baud rate of the computer's COM1 port (default 38400). For software settings, see the software help.

2. When the attendance machine is connected, the sound of the “whistle” sounds. 1 If the above phenomenon occurs when using RS-232 communication, the baud rate of the computer and the baud rate setting of the time attendance are inconsistent.

2 If RS-485 communication is used, it may be that the two wires of the converter's communication line are reversed, or the two wires are stuck together.

3、After the attendance machine is turned on repeatedly shows "Please press (leave) finger"

The reasons for this problem may be as follows: 1 The problem arises when the surface of the collecting head becomes dirty or scratches when it is used for a long time, causing the collecting head to mistakenly believe that the surface has pressed the finger and cannot pass. In this case, adhesive tape can be used to paste the dirt on the surface of the collecting head.

2 The connection of the fingerprint acquisition head is loosened or loosened.

3 motherboard chip is broken.

If the second and third items are two reasons, you need to contact the supplier to apply for warranty.

4. Some users' fingerprint attendance often cannot be verified. Some of the following situations may cause some employees to use it or not be able to use fingerprints for attendance:

Fingerprints on some fingers are flattened;

2 There are too many folds on the fingers and often change;

3 Severe peeling on the fingers;

Users with unrecognized fingerprints can delete the fingerprint and register it again, or register another finger.

When registering fingerprints, such users need to choose to use better-quality fingerprints (less creases, lack of skin, and clear fingerprints), try to make the fingers contact the fingerprint collector with a larger area, and perform comparison tests after the registration is completed; Register a few more backup fingers.
