After more than three years of hard work, the project R&D team jointly organized by the Institute of Chemistry and Weifang Henglian Cellulose Paper Co., Ltd. has developed a series of key technologies such as the low-cost synthesis of ionic liquids, the batch preparation and transportation of cellulose solutions, and the recovery of solvents and solvents. The company has made important breakthroughs in the development of equipment and has succeeded in driving the 1,000-ton industrial production line. The traditional viscose process for the preparation of cellulose films uses caustic soda, carbon disulfide, sulfuric acid and liquid chlorine and other toxic or highly corrosive chemicals. Through a series of chemical separation processes, the ionic liquids and water produced in the process can be efficiently recovered and reused, with no waste water and waste gas emissions.
