The largest characteristic is that it can't react with active coloring matter and can't produce covalent bond. It doesn't contain hydroxymethyl and only contain CHOH; meanwhile, there is carhboxyl with strong negative electricity on its base ring. Therefore, it not only absorbs coloring matter, but also has exclusion that can make coloring matter move towards fiber from paste.
