Aluminum die-casting release agent application technology

Aluminum alloy die-casting, including aluminum, magnesium, zinc alloy series die-casting products, are widely used in automobiles, telecommunications, motorcycles, home appliances and other industries. Aluminum alloy die-casting release agent is an additive that must be used in the production process. Because of the different size of the products, the different degree of structural complexity, and the different post-processing requirements of the products, the requirements for the release agent are also different.

The zinc alloy material is heated and melted (aluminum melting point is 660.4° C.), and is injected into a mold cavity under high pressure in a liquid state, and a mold is ejected in a short time. In order to ensure the smooth release of the product, a mold release agent must be sprayed on the mold cavity surface before injection.

Aluminum alloy die casting mold release agent must meet the following requirements:

1, oil. Silicone oil is an ideal choice as an effective material for metal separation. This silicone oil must have high temperature resistance, does not affect the post-processing performance (such as aluminum product coating) characteristics.

2, water. Since the mold is at a high temperature, any solvent-based release agent is not suitable. With water as the dispersion medium, the water rapidly evaporates in a high-temperature environment, and the stripping effective material is evenly distributed on the surface of the mold cavity. Uniform film formation, strong adhesion, high temperature resistance, good mold release performance.

3, emulsion. Select the appropriate emulsifier to emulsify the silicone oil to prevent it from carbonizing at high temperatures. To keep the surface of the product and the cavity clean.

4, no corrosion on castings, mold equipment. The cast products have a clear corridor with no traces of the surface and do not affect the painting. The volatiles are smoke-free, non-toxic, and do not pollute the environment. The health of operators is not impaired.
