The production and sales of major products grew rapidly; the industry completed sales revenue of 7.42 billion yuan, an increase of 19. 3%; realized profit of 150 million yuan, down 236.5% year-on-year. According to industry insiders, this shows that China's machine tool industry is still not competitive in terms of product variety, quality and level, and the ability to acquire new technologies and new products is insufficient.
