A few days ago, the project “Research and Demonstration of Key Techniques for Stochastic Optimal Dispatch Considering Uncertainty of New Energy Generation†implemented by State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Research Institute passed the expert acceptance of State Grid Co., Ltd. in Beijing with excellent results. The results of this project have been demonstrated and applied in the Qinghai Electric Power Dispatching and Control Center in 2019, ensuring that the Qinghai Power Grid has abandoned the entire network in the past two years when the installed capacity of new energy exceeded 14 million kilowatts and the number of new energy stations exceeded 290. The electricity rate did not exceed 5%, which realized the efficient consumption of Qinghai Power New Energy.
In 2018, Qinghai Province's new energy generation capacity reached 12.569 billion kWh. Qinghai has become the most concentrated area for large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic power plants in the world. In order to meet the challenge, the “Research and Demonstration of Key Technology for Stochastic Optimal Dispatch Considering the Uncertainty of New Energy Generation†project jointly undertaken by five units including State Grid Qinghai Electric Power Company and China Electric Power Research Institute Co., Ltd. was launched in 2017 The project is established and implemented within half a year.
The project revolves around the major strategic needs for the development of the new energy power generation industry, breaks through the technical bottlenecks of large-scale new energy power generation, such as strong randomness, weak controllability, and difficult scheduling, and developed the "new energy power generation year / month optimized scheduling system and short-term "Stochastic optimization dispatch system", which maximizes the consumption of new energy while effectively reducing the risk of dispatch decision, improves the safety and reliability of dispatch decision, and provides theoretical basis and technology for the leap-forward development of Qinghai's new energy power generation industry Support is of great significance for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the new energy power generation industry in Qinghai and even China, implementing the national energy strategy, and ensuring national energy security.
According to reports, taking into account factors such as the future upgrade of power grid dispatch planning systems at provincial and higher levels, the project results are planned to be applied to many high-energy provinces in Xinjiang, Shandong and other provinces. It is expected to generate economic value of more than 13 million yuan.
